Instructions: Look at the list of books below. Bold the ones you’ve read, underline the ones you have read a bit from but never finished, italicize the ones you might want to read in the future, cross out the ones you won’t touch with a 10-foot pole, and do not do anything to the ones you’ve never heard of.
Like Red Pen, I used a lighter font color for books I've heard of, but haven't read – and may or may not read someday.
As you can see, most of the time I finish the books I start. And there are very few books I wouldn't touch with a 10 foot pole.

My suggestions is to drop all other reading and start on East of Eden. It's the best book I've ever read.

Impressive.
Last week I read "Let the Northern Lights Erase Your Name" by Vendela Vida. I enjoyed it very much.
And if you haven't read it, Wallace Stegner's Angle of Repose.
I'm currently working my way through rereading most of Jane Austen.

Wow! You've read so many. I agree with Gdub that East of Eden is very good. I also think you'd enjoy A Prayer for Owen Meany. What did you think of The Alchemist? It's on my short list of things to read.

Thanks all for the book recommendations! East of Eden definitely on my priority list. I don't know how I never read it. I guess just more Brit lit than American in college is the culprit.Nifer: I reread Jane Austen a couple years ago. I appreciated her work SO much more than I did in college 15+ years ago. Red Pen: Speaking of rereading, The Alchemist is probably a book I would get more out of now than I did when I originally read it (maybe 8 years ago now?). I remember that I enjoyed the tale, but I wasn't really in the mood for the deeper, spiritual meaning at the time. In other words, I do not have an opinion worth basing any decisions on.
